Privacy Policy

Short version: pon.fun has no user accounts, no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies. We process the minimum needed to serve the site: standard server logs, the wallet address you choose to connect (kept in your own browser), and the tickers you look up. Everything you do on a blockchain is public by design.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how the pon.fun team ("pon.fun", "we", "us") handles information when you use the website at pon.fun and its APIs (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service. It does not cover third-party services you use alongside the Site, such as your wallet, RPC providers or block explorers, which have their own privacy policies.

2. Information we process

2.1 Information you provide

Wallet address. If you connect a wallet, the Site reads your public address locally in your browser to display balances and to prepare transactions. We do not require or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers or identity documents, and we never receive your private keys or seed phrase.
Content you submit on-chain. Coin tickers, names and coin launches you submit are written to the public blockchain by you, not stored privately by us.
Correspondence. If you email us, we receive your email address and message.

2.2 Information processed automatically

Server logs. Like nearly every website, our web server records request metadata: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer and user-agent string. We use these logs for security, rate limiting and debugging, and delete or rotate them within 30 days.
Query data. When the Site fetches quotes or charts, the ticker symbols you view are included in requests our server makes to market-data providers. These requests come from our server, not your device, and are not linked to your wallet address by us.
Local storage. The Site stores small technical values in your own browser (for example your most recent wallet connector) so that reconnecting is smoother. This data never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

2.3 What we do not do

No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, pixels or fingerprinting.
No third-party analytics scripts.
No sale or renting of personal information, and no sharing for behavioral advertising.
No profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal effects about you.

3. Blockchain data is public

When you sign a transaction, your wallet address, the transaction details and resulting balances are recorded permanently on Robinhood Chain, a public blockchain we do not control. This is inherent to how blockchains work: such records are public, immutable, and readable by anyone worldwide. The Site merely displays this public data. If you value privacy, consider using a fresh wallet address and consult resources on blockchain privacy before transacting.

4. How we use information

to operate, secure and debug the Site (legitimate interest);
to serve the market data and on-chain state you request (performance of our service to you);
to prevent abuse, enforce our Terms and comply with legal obligations;
to respond when you contact us.

5. When information is shared

Infrastructure providers. Our hosting provider processes server traffic for us; blockchain RPC providers process the read requests our server and your browser make; market-data providers receive ticker queries from our server. Certificate authorities (Let's Encrypt) see our domain for TLS issuance.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, safety and integrity of the Site or others.
Project transitions. If the project is reorganized or transferred, operational data (such as server logs) may transfer with it under the same protections.

6. International transfers

Our servers and providers may be located in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers. By using the Site you understand your requests will be processed where our infrastructure operates.

7. Retention

Server logs are kept up to 30 days. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your request and for our legitimate record-keeping. Data recorded on a public blockchain cannot be deleted by anyone, including us.

8. Security

All traffic to the Site is encrypted with TLS. Access to our servers is restricted to key-based authentication. No system is perfectly secure; because the Site is non-custodial, the most important security step remains yours: protect your wallet and never share your seed phrase. We will never ask for it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or similar laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we hold so little data, most requests concern server logs or email; contact us and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. Note that we cannot alter or erase public blockchain records.

10. Children

The Site is not directed at children and may not be used by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly process data of children; if you believe a child has used the Site, contact us.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version, with its "Last updated" date, is always available at pon.fun/privacy. Material changes take effect when posted.
